Cookie’s Policy

(Cookies, Web- Beacons and similar Technologies)

Like most websites, we or our authorized service providers use the following within the framework of our website and our applications, services and tools, cookies, web beacons and other similar data storage technologies. These technologies are essentially small data files stored on your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device that allow us to collect specific information each time you visit our website or use our services, applications, messaging and tools to provide you with a better, faster and safer user experience and to customize content and ads.

The specific names and types of cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies we use may change. In order to better explain this explanation and our use of these technologies, we have compiled the following short list of important terms and their definitions for you:

“Cookies“ are small files that allow us to store specific information about you on your PC when you visit our website. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website and to make our offers as safe, convenient and efficient as possible for you.

These cookies allow third parties to identify what you find popular, allowing a more personalized and relevant selection of advertisements to be displayed when you browse the internet. They normally won’t just be from us, but build an overall, but anonymous, picture of an individual’s preferences based on how they have browsed the internet, in order to deliver more relevant advertising.

On the one hand, we use so-called “session cookies”, which are only stored temporarily for the duration of your use of our website. On the other hand, we use “permanent cookies” to record information about computers that repeatedly access our website. This enables us to offer you optimal user guidance, to “recognize” you and to present you with as varied a website and new content as possible in case of repeated use. The content of a permanent cookie is limited to an identification number. The validity period of a permanent cookie is 100 days; after these 100 days the cookie is automatically deleted. Name, IP address or other information about your real identity are not stored, and we also do not create individual profiles about your usage behavior. In addition, you may also be affected by “initial provider cookies” when using our website. These are deposited by the website you are visiting. It is also possible that so-called “third party cookies” may exist, which are stored by a website other than the one you are visiting.

Web-Beacons are small graphic files (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) that may be contained in our website, our services, applications, messaging functions and tools and are usually used in conjunction with cookies to identify users or user behavior.

Similar technologies are technologies that use shared local objects or local storage functions such as Flash cookies, HTML 5 cookies and other web application software methods to store data in your browser or on your end device. These technologies can work across all your browsers and in some cases may not be fully managed by your browser, but may need to be managed directly through your installed applications or endpoint. We do not use these technologies to store data for the personalization of advertisements on our or other websites.

We offer certain website features, services, applications and tools that are only available through the use of these technologies. You can block, delete or deactivate these technologies at any time if your browser, your installed application or your end device supports it. In particular, you can use our offers without cookies by deactivating the storage of cookies (e.g. under Extras/Internet options) in your respective browser, limiting them to certain websites or setting your browser so that it notifies you as soon as a cookie is sent. The settings must be set separately for each browser you use. For this purpose, the various browsers offer different functions and options. You can also delete cookies from your PC’s hard drive at any time (e.g. Firefox: Tools > Settings > Privacy > Show cookies > Remove cookie / Remove all cookies; Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Delete general browser history / Cookies). Please note, however, that in these cases you must expect a limited display of our website and limited user guidance.

The collection and use of personal data using these technologies only takes place with your knowledge and your previous information by informing you in this statement about the use of the technologies and giving you the opportunity to deactivate these technologies if you wish as described above.

We work with external companies, so-called service providers, which are entitled, with our permission, to place third party cookies, web beacons or similar technologies for storing data on our website or in our services, applications and tools. These service providers help us to provide you with a better, faster and safer user experience.

These service providers use these technologies to help us deliver our own content and advertisements and to create anonymous website metrics and analysis. For more information on the use of Google Analytics, please refer to the section on range measurement and Google Analytics below. We do not allow any of these service providers to collect any personal information on our website or in our services, applications and tools for their own purposes. The use or collection of personal information by these service providers is subject to privacy and non-disclosure agreements with us and other legal restrictions. The Data Protection Declarations of the respective third party providers apply to third party providers cookies.

Except for the use of these technologies by our service providers or other authorized third party providers, we do not allow third party content (such as offers, user-to-user communications, comments, reviews, etc.) on our website that contains or uses cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to track or collect your personal information. If you suspect that an offer or third-party content on our site may collect personal information or use tracking technologies, please report it at
