Organization and leadership change at Qualifyze

Becoming a trusted partner for quality audits is one of our key objectives as an organization - and fundamental to accomplishing this is a stellar, high-performing Quality function and seamless operations.

Since starting at Qualifyze, Carla has been a vital part of the success of our company. From the first days of building our ISO9001 QMS to managing an ever-increasing workload of audits, Carla has proven that her leadership is a guarantee for success, quality, stability, and progress. Carla has managed to scale and develop quality from a 1-woman show to a high-performing team capable of doing hundreds of audits each year at the highest possible quality standard.

We recognize that the path to adding true value for our customers is created by people. To attract and retain the best and the brightest talent, it is crucial that we support a best-in-class People function.

Emese is a values-driven executive who brings more than 20 years of strategic and global people and culture leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies, in the fintech and CPG industry and has demonstrated success in growing effective organizations with culture at the center, improving employee experience.

She will lead and further build our capable People team to oversee all people strategy and operations, talent acquisition, learning and development, and compensation functions at Qualifyze. She will be responsible for continuing to scale the organization’s growth processes, will build our muscle further for employee career development, and will set a clear and ambitious strategy for Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.

Emese has relocated for this role to Cologne from Chicago with her husband and will be based out of the Frankfurt Office primarily, but also be present in our growing Barcelona office.
During her 12 years living and working in the US, Emese recently oversaw the People function for PayPal’s two highly successful stand-alone business units: Braintree and Venmo. Prior to PayPal, she served in a variety of HR leadership positions with Wrigley, Mars Chocolate and most recently as Chief People Officer at Next Capital. Throughout her Europe - and US-based career, she has led numerous initiatives and high-performing teams: developing talent, enhancing culture and building inclusive organizations. She has a recognized track record as a strong leader, do-er, taskmaster with an innovative mindset.

Welcome Emese and congratulation to Carla for her much-deserved promotion!
